Summer Mile Racing Weekend Coming up at Ascot, this summer, the Summer Mile Racing Weekend, on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th July, presents two days of thrilling racing action. The racecourse’s pristine lawns are in full midsummer bloom and its grounds alive with atmosphere as racegoers enjoy an exciting card of Flat racing on a relaxing afternoon of summer socialising. On the Saturday, racegoers of all ages can also enjoy festival-themed activities from fairground rides, mini golf, face painting, and more. QIPCO King George Diamond Weekend One of Ascot’s greatest occasions, QIPCO King George Diamond Weekend, on Friday 22nd to Saturday 23rd July, offers a relaxed afternoon of racing where racegoers can wander across the racecourse’s luscious lawns and sample the many Champagne and cocktail bars on offer under the glorious English sunshine. Although less formal than the Royal Meeting, QIPCO King George Diamond Weekend has become a showcase of contemporary summer style. The headline act, the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth QIPCO Stakes is Europe’s indisputable midsummer middle-distance showpiece and the weekend closes, on the Saturday, with live music at sunset.
