Welcome to our spring enewsletter

If you – like us at Visit Windsor – have enjoyed the beautiful weather of late, the gentle change of the seasons and the very welcome sight of springtime colour, you’ll probably be thinking ahead to Easter and looking for inspiration to fill the longer, warmer days.

The Queen likes Windsor so much that she traditionally sets up Easter Court here every year. What better than a royal recommendation!

After two low-key Easters, let us tempt you to visit our beautiful destination this spring. It’s perfect for a day visit or – dare we say it – an Easter ‘eggs’tended short break (sorry…)

Read on for ideas to make your visit a special one. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Spring at Windsor Great Park

The signs of spring are beginning to show across the Great Park. There is much to discover this time of year from the ground right through to the trees.

This season be on the look out for an array of colour, particularly in The Savill Garden, as well as activities for the family this Easter holiday. There’s more information below on how you can make the most of your visit and, from membership to the advantage card, further detail on the different ways you can experience the seasonal delights of the Great Park throughout the year.

Highlights at The Savill Garden

Few other gardens can boast the range of plant material that make up the spring displays for which The Savill Garden is rightly famed. Lose yourself in the pure pink flowers of the Japanese cherry trees and the variety of Magnolias and Rhododendrons. Be sure to visit the Alpine Meadow which is awash with daffodils from late March.
