This August, the work of William Shakespeare is celebrated with special evening performances of his plays at Windsor Castle, the royal residence closely associated with Britain's greatest playwright. 111th Royal Windsor Summer Show, Saturday 16 July 2016, Windsor Castle, St George's School Gardens. Take the whole family to the beautiful setting of Windsor Castle for a day full of classic charm and a jam-packed schedule of fun and entertainment, at the 111th Royal Windsor Summer Show. Enjoy live Jazz, Punch and Judy, Morris Dancing, Birds of Prey, a cooking demonstration from celebrity chef Mridula Baljekar and a performance from the Azure Dance School, along with an array of high quality artisan stalls, offering fine British produce to visitors on the day. Catering at the Show is classically British, with fine cream teas on the lawn, hog-roast, ploughman’s lunches and of course the obligatory Beer, Cider and Pimm’s tents, kindly sponsored by the Windsor and Eton Brewery.
