WINDSOR FESTIVAL STARTS ON SUNDAY!

With a fantastic series of concerts in the stunning Waterloo Chamber and St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, as well as other venues around Windsor and Eton we can’t wait to welcome, amongst others, The Philharmonia Orchestra and The English Chamber Orchestra to play Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2 and Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.4 respectively.

Kicking off with a free bandstand concert this Sunday, in 2016 we are delighted to celebrate three significant anniversaries: The Queen’s 90th Birthday, Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary and the Centenary of the birth of violinist and Windsor Festival founding Artistic Director, Yehudi Menuhin. The fortnight is full of entertaining and exciting events; we hope hope that you find much which attracts and delights you.
